Aw. My pup also had really bad anxiety, especially seperation. I noticed that as I got older (I got him as a puppy when I was 18) a lot of his behavior was triggering for me, as I couldn't handle both of us having it. However, it was comforting because we both had eachother to get through it. And that we did til he passed of old age recently. It's definitely overwhelming to deal with and I hope the both of you are able to find some comfort in eachother.
