My grandma thinks my uncle has a drinking problem

Hey, do you know what makes your grandma think that? Does your uncle drink more than usual at family meals? Beyond that, why does it bother you so much that there will be no alcohol at family meals? I understand that it's difficult to survive without alcohol in these meals, but maybe this is an opportunity not to drink, nothing will happen if the meal is without alcohol.
