Hey fellow Alikes! Well, I just found out about this app and thought I'd give it a try, mainly to connect with others who also have been diagnosed with BPD. Even though my diagnosis isn't "new" and some years have passed since receiving it, it still feels new because I haven't received any treatment for it. I've managed to educate myself the best of my ability via the internet, but it isn't the same as being able to hold a conversation with someone who's experiences are alike. Anyway, I look forward to hearing back from y'all and also hoping this app can help me, with whatever it is that's not adding up. (idk how to explain it.) Nice to meet you, and we'll chat soon!

Lamotrigine

if you want to look into medication, lamotrigine has helped my emotions tremendously and helps keep me grounded in situations that would usually spike an episode. however, i do feel it may have made me have more ocd, so if that’s also something you struggle with, i wouldn’t recommend it. but other than that it’s been a great medication with little to no side effects
