I hate staying up late because I'm in pain. it's like I'm literally just waiting for the fatigue to overcome the pain. my legs and hips and back hurt. nerve pain sucks. it's so difficult to get rid of. ibuprofen does nothing. Tylenol barely takes off the edge... I should have worn my shoes today with the heel lift in the left shoe. I always forget that this leg length discrepancy is so extreme until it's too late. life sometimes feels impossible to cope with. words of encouragement would be appreciated

Hey, first don't give up. I understand you; this pain can be really exhausting and change the whole routine of life. Have you tried going to a pain clinic? Maybe they will be able to give you better and more suitable solutions for your pain. My family doctor didn't know how to deal with my pain, until I insist on going to a pain doctor. Since I've been with this doctor I feel much better, sleep better at night and function better during the day. Fatigue can also make the pain more significant, so you should treat this as well.

Hi thank you so much!! That's very helpful and kind of you. Part of my pain is in my legs from my leg length discrepancy and today I wore a heel lift all day except for at the very end, for a short walk outside (and I was walking around the entire day). After getting home from that short walk, my hip and legs hurt quite a bit (they still do and it's about 4 hours later). So I am learning what is imperative to have in my life! It most definitely can completely change your routine. It can be literally impossible to do what you used to without ending up in withering pain at the end of the day. I need to go to a pain specialist! The Nurse practitioner that suddenly took over my family doctor is very enthusiastic about medicating, which can be helpful and a hindrance...! I've been to physical therapy and they have helped but I wonder if they know any good pain clinics. I'm just trying to come to terms with the fact that I will need to manage this for literally the rest of my life. Even people who get surgery to fix their bodies still have to live with the pain of the screws, or scars, etc
