seasonal affective disorder is ruining my life. I cant sleep, always tired, and I have no motivation. I'm trying really hard to get some sort of serotonin running on my own but I'm struggling a lot. it doesn't help that the holidays are just stressful and I don't have a lot of money to make the holiday as special as I want to...

      I recently read something that said “You just gotta do it. You don’t have to be happy about it… just do is miserably. Don’t even try to smile. Just do it miserably.” That helped me a lot with even getting out of bed in the morning/doing simple tasks. Best wishes 💕 🙌

      I know this is the least important part of the post and even tho I relate to the entire post I really relate to not having enough money to make the holidays as special as you wish you could.

      I got SAD really bad too. My psychiatrist ups my meds in the fall and winter. It helps. I also take vitamin D3 and a multivitamin. Talking also helps. If you need a friend I’m here you can message me 💜

      I have that too , maybe talking with a therapist would help. Also I heard sun lamps help too.

      I’m sorry, I get really bad SAD too so I get how you feel. I’ve been keeping it at bay for now by taking vitamin D lately and making sure my room is decorated really nicely with lights and things to keep my space cheery. I’m also planning on getting a UV light if things get worse.

        @YoursTrulyNavy the lights are a great idea. I'll have to wait until next paycheck before I can purchase any though....
