Struggling with Trust Issues

I've gone through the same thing. I've been hurt over and over. I have found some friends that I can trust and they are wonderful. Sometimes small friend groups are healthy.

I'm not mad that I have to earn your trust. I am just so sorry that you have been hurt so many times that it's difficult to feel safe. I hope you can find some one who does earn your trust, and I am here to at least listen and care if you ever need someone

I feel this so much. As someone with PTSD, it’s even worse. I literally cant help but compare new people to people that have hurt me in my past. Its the worst :( my advice is just to try your hardest to view new people as them and not anyone else. Be honest about your feelings as best as you can with others. If they truly care about you, they’ll understand you’re just scared because people from your past have failed you. Sending love ❤️

I know its frustrating to lose friends over this but imo the people willing to be trusted by you will work for it. Think of the people who get mad at you for not immediately trusting them as the trash taking it self out. I hope you feel better <3
