i have been to many a therapist trying to find one who will take me seriously especially with nd, if you can find a good one that can see that you might be autistic then i think that’s when it’s best to ask for a referral, also there are some therapists and psychiatrists who have the qualifications to test and diagnose you
I've been kinda scared to talk to someone about it because a lot of the time I'm not taken seriously by doctors but I've recently been to a good doctor and she's the one that asked me if I ever been tested for autism so imma try going back to her and ask for a referral.. it's just finding a specialist for it around me that will be hard
