My muscles are shortening and staying tense more and more. Yesterday some of my left gastrocnemius snapped as I was walking steadily on a flat surface. The theory is that energy cannot get into the muscle cells, so they shorten until they no longer perform. Sounds similar to Mitochondrial Syndrome. My leg holds me up if I only take short steps. I'm just waiting for a consultation on June 1st.
