Hello, this is my first post, so it's going to be long so you can get to know me a little better. I'm 18, and was diagnosed with ADHD in December, 2014. (I know I put in 2013, I realized too late it was actually 2014.) I've tried a few medications in the past, but I was in 4th grade, and I couldn't remember all those long Latin names. šŸ˜† I'm taking medication again, (Strattera) and there haven't been any noticeable side-affects, and it's working quite well. Still, I worry if it will be enough for me to push through college-level work, but other than that, life is good. If you take medication for your ADHD, what do you use? What are the side-affects (if any)?

I take Vyvanse! My side effects arenā€™t too bad at all. For me its appetite suppression which Iā€™m okay with lol, teeth grinding and being both chatty (at peak time) when Iā€™m with someone I like or not talking at all bc I can actually organize my thoughts as they come. Benefits out weigh the side effects by far, in my case. One of my two miracle meds. Have you taken stimulants before that you remember /how do they differ from Strattera for you? If the meds arenā€™t working enough you can def talk to your doc about it. Iā€™m glad life is good for you! Welcome šŸ˜

I take Adderall! I lose my appetite as a side effect, and I'm more introverted when I'm medicated
