So, this is probably going to sound gross, but supposed to be a support group ,( please excuse my optimism until I figure out this app )so here goes. Twice over night last night ( which hardly ever happens ) I woke up with horrible stomach cramps like I needed to go to the bathroom. Sure enough. While I was having my bowel movement, it felt like I passed my entire large intestine, then it's been loose ever since. Has anyone experience this? What did you do? I haven't been formally diagnosed with IBS yet, though I'd have to say that this is a pretty clear sign. Does anyone agree?
Chris is correct! You most likely had a blockage which stopped your normal waste removal. Rice (or rice water) will help bind you, as will slightly up ripe bananas, and tea (BRAT diet). Increasing your fiber and water intake should help alleviate the problem.
