I have a situation that I need suggestions please. I take a lot of medications and at times I become confused where I either take the morning meds twice, morning and evening. I tried different color pill box because my morning meds are only taking one time and day and my night meds the same. I don't know why I become confused but it happens at times. Anyone has any suggestions?

It's just am and pm meds? What about a weekly organizer? Anyone with you that can help you? I've also heard of pharmacies that organize your meds so you know when to take them?

i think there are apps that can remind you to take your meds so maybe that could help with making sure you take the right one at the right time

I have a big med organizer that goes two weeks ahead and one line is am one is pm I got it at rite aide but I’m sure other pharmacy type places sell them or something like them!

I send my self a text when I take my meds. The amount of it can be different and the exact time. I can then look back and be sure! But, you have to make a decision to swallow them and then text! Otherwise you may text before you have taken them, get distracted, and not really take! I hope this helps!

I put all my meds in a small pill bottle for each time each day for a week and set an alarm to remind me, and line them up so I can clearly see if I took them or not. There is also apps that you can use to track your med intake, but I would like be doing something and think that I will punch it in in a few minutes and then totally forget to do it and get messed up anyway so I stopped using them.

Pill box is my suggestion also! I set an alarm on my phone for one pill I have to take in the afternoon. AM/PM medicine pill box is the best. I’m so foggy brained from my Gabapentin I could never remember!

Wow. I am planning to apply the pill box Am and PM. I have a timer but most times I ignored it. I will look into apps also to see if any I like

Same issue. You aren’t alone! I got a monthly pill organizer from Amazon. Each day is a little portable holder divided into am and pm. And - it has the calendar numbers on each “day” - can’t screw up bc- if 27 am is empty - I’m all set!

I have the am/pm pill box. Tried out the “helper” application but it wasn’t helpful. Keeping the box in view is helpful but I still forget…. Thanks fibro…. People who don’t have it don’t understand. We just have to accept them as they are and do the best we can for ourselves. At least that’s my approach. And remember life is hard for most people. Looking at someone anyone isn’t the same as living in their life. Sorry to drone on. Don’t know where I was going. Tough… life is tough.

My suggestion; Firstly get 2 separate containers that will fit your morning and night medication bottles AND single week med callander for morning and night. Assign a color for day and night. Example: Day is Orange and Night is Purple. Get construction paper matching the colors and label the construction paper in large bold letters reading "D A Y M E D S" & "N I G H T M E D S" then tape them well to the top or side of the containers. You now have a Day box and a Night box. Make sure you put them in separate areas if possible. Like Day meds go in the kitchen where you get water/drink for meds, and Night meds in the bathroom where you can take them before brushing teeth. ^_^

Emo, I love that suggestions. I tried putting them in separate areas that that does not help me. But I love what you said about creating day and evening signs

I think unless I do something right when I’m told by a reminder or even my memory when it does decide to work I must do it at that exact second otherwise within seconds I may forget and that’s what causes the confusion you wonder if you actually forgot or if you didn’t and I don’t like to take things twice and I definitely hate when it kicks in to my body that nope I didn’t take it… I’m finding that to be the only solution for me because mine is caused by severe memory problems or brain fog or what have you

I have an alarm on my phone to help me remember. As annoying as it is to listen to the alarm, I don't turn it off until my pills have been taken.

Everybody has wonderful suggestions! I've used a combo of a weekly med box, an app (that has alarm reminders) to help me stay on track.

I use a company called PillPack. They send everything to you in a box. And you’re medication is separated by times that you indicate on the website. The date is on each pack. Definitely worth it.

Tried PillPack before I drop them. Don't like them
