what should I do if I'm scared of the people I live with? my door doesn't lock and I can't block it since it opens outward. every noise they make stresses me out and I'm on the verge of a panic attack.

@Reallyhopeful next week will be my last day of counseling since I will be moving out on the 19th but that's more than a week from now...

šŸ™ I know the feeling! Fear is a way of protecting ourselves from possible danger. Since we have experienced trauma, our fears are much more heightened. It's only natural to feel like that. Even though you're door opens outwards, you can still get a lock for your door. Getting someone to do it for you might be the problem. If you are renting, the landlord is responsible for that. If you live with family, I don't know what to say. If your fears last much longer, I recommend you find a safer place to live. Your sanity is what is the most important thing right now. Also, I encourage you to get counseling.

@Lucas.exe please continue counseling. Even after you move out, you will still have the same struggles everywhere you go.
