I hate not knowing if I am having an IBS flare up or if I am ill. As someone who is a hypochondriac with health anxiety, it really stresses me out! Anyone relate?

Obviously!!! However, over the years with IBS I have learned to recognize when it is a flare-up (which comes mostly during periods when I am mentally stressed). And yet, there are times when I do not know if it is a stomach virus / upset stomach or if it is a flare : /
