Just started taking Zoloft today. What’s your experience on it and do you recommend taking it in the morning or night? Any side effects?

I take zoloft for pmdd (which made it help almost instantly, as opposed to the 6 week wait for depression/anxiety) and found that afternoons (1pm) were best for me because evenings gave me the worst symptoms. I use to take it at night tho. Zoloft has been a game changer for me personally. Only side effect I've had is noticably dilated pupils. That went away after my body adjusted the first month. I know it's not a one size fits all kinda deal but zoloft helped me so drastically, I really hope for the same for you. It didn't completely erase my anxiety, but instead of panic attacks that last for hours, wave after wave, now it's 5 minutes of alone time and deep breathing, and I'm ok. Not winning any awards, mind you, but no longer constantly dying and hiding. For me, that was a spark. A hope. Something to grasp. Not to mention the first time I settled in for what I thought would be another wasted day of panic attacks and misery, only to miraculously be ok after maybe 10 minutes? Just one half assed wave of anxiety and it was... done? I thought it was devine intervention until I forgot to take it one day. 😅 it's not a cure all but it's worth a valiant try if you are able to tolerate it. If you don't notice improvement, communicate with your dr. Maybe the dose should be adjusted. Sorry this is a bit long lol! Sending good vibes, positivity, and healing your way, friends.
I've been on it for about 6 weeks, and I take it after breakfast. I haven't had any side effects, but it also hasn't helped me at all. I am trying to go off it.
