How do you work up the motivation to do things when it feels like anything you start or even think about starting gives you anxiety? I feel like I can’t do anything for fear of it going wrong- it’s so debilitating and makes me depressed as well. I feel like a failure at living somehow.

    I acknowledge it and look down at my dog and see her as calm and I know if she can overcome it so can I. I tell myself I move forward with my day to make a better life for her

    You put it to words! And for me it’s not always fear of going wrong I’m on the autism spectrum so for me it’s the sensory issues of it overall. I expirience physical pain from the anxiety that simple stuff like dirty dishes that sat too long and smell funny. I try to take stuff in bite size bits reward myself a lot and go easy on myself

    Make a list. Smallest thing goes first. Heck! Check off, 1. Get out of bed 2. Brush teeth 3. Drink water YOU CAN AND YOU WILL DO IT

    When doing something that scares you are makes you panic keep something cold like a waterbottle helps me so much ! 👍

    @LauraElizabeth I feel the same. I try my best to take it in small pieces. Altho even that seems hard sometimes.
