Hi! I’m experiencing some strange breathing issues after having Omicron that my doctor thinks are related to my vocal cords. I would love to talk to people who have similar experiences.
I’ve been having this feeling like there’s liquid stuck in my throat along with a strange wheezing that only happens with I inhale. When it first started, I went to the er several times because it felt like my throat was closing up. Initially, X-rays did show that my trachea was inflamed but they did t know why
My doctor thinks this discomfort is related to my vocal cords because all my pulmonary tests came back fine! I’m grateful its not related to my lungs but it is frustrating because I’m not sure what to do about it
have you been tested for GERD? I had the same issue and would get bronchitis and pneumonia regularly. My new pulmonologist had me do a sleep study and a PH study done and it turned out that my reflux caused me to aspirate, irritating my esophagus and lungs. I got surgery and it was completely solved! Might be the same for you?
