I feel like I’m weak. I know other potsies are able to go to school and work and even just shower, but I don’t feel like I’m able to do any of that. It seems like a lot of them are in worse condition than I am too. Idk, I feel bad for taking it easy, but when I am productive I always end up crashing and not being able to function. Everyone is always telling me to do better but I don’t feel like I have the energy for that.

They might not actually be in worse condition than you. Your symptoms are very real, you're not just weak willed or anything like that. When you say crash, do you mean you get really fatigued after physical or mental exertion? I'd look into chronic fatigue syndrome and post exertional malaise. If you were to have cfs, you definitely don't want to overdo it

Ok, thanks, I might look into that

Isn’t that just a POTS symptom? The crashes only last for a day at the most. Normally I just have several small crashes during the day that last a couple hours

@NewYork I'm not sure, maybe? I have pots, but I've never "crashed" per se. I get fatigued and feel weak in the moment while doing a task, but never the next day or hours later. That's what sounded like post exertional malaise to me, especially if it lasts all day. csf can present that way. Doesn't mean you have it or anything, just that there's some overlap sometimes and it reminded me of it

I don’t really have a lot of energy anyways, but yes, when I crash I just get so exhausted, I also get really loopy and have mood swings
