Hey, what sorts of pain management strategies and medications do you guys use? My doctor has tried prescribing things in the NSAID family, but they don’t really do anything for me. And I can’t deal with just Tylenol and MMJ all the time.

Avoid opioids as long as possible. They sent me down a 15 year rabbit hole of drug and alcohol addiction. 5 years clean and sober this coming April. I currently use delta 8. Works for me, and I don’t get “high”

I have a routine of meloxicam, muscle relaxers, and good ol’ THC. I’m trying to avoid opioids as long as possible.

Low Dose Naltrexone has helped me a lot! I also use KT tape for bracing and have AFOs and a wheelchair for walking. Learning my limits and when to stop or just not do something in general has helped a lot, preventing the thing causing pain.

A silica supplement (I use Solgar's) had worked wonders for me. I didn't take it expecting to happen, and it did take a couple months to feel a difference but it's helped soooo much
