Anyone else with ADHD who used to be a perfectionist, routined and conscientious person but overtime has become a chronic procrastinator and described as lazy and unmotivated. I personally used to be a straight A student and considered a role model by my family and peers, now I'm made an example of what not to be. I don't remember what it was like to be so responsible, careful and highly motivated. Now I can't get myself to do any of the hobbies I enjoyed or even eat. I am chronically fatigued and get tired whenever I even think about doing something (even fun things). I know most are gonna chalk it up to depression but I feel like I should be able to do something (I even tried antidepressants that worked well and lifted my mood). Anyone else have a similar story and possibly a solution?

this is my experience exactly. straight A student, put into the gifted and talented program earlier than the other kids, and loved doing school work. but my grades started slipping hard in middle/high school and i could never get them back. i couldn't do any of my hobbies, either. i'm also on antidepressants that help my overall mental health a lot, but it's done nothing for my fatigue or chronic pain. i don't have a solution unfortunately, i'm currently trialing a ton of different stimulants and wakefulness meds but none of it is working so far šŸ˜”
