Is anyone on Trileptal and had blood sodium problems? Ever since my epileptologist increased my Trileptal dose, I’ve had dangerously low blood sodium and chloride. I actually went to the ER for it last weekend. I can’t even remember half of what happened it was so bad. I got my blood tested yesterday, and while I’m no longer in the hospital and feeling well, my blood salt still ended up being just as low. I’m supposed to see a nephrologist for it next week. I’m starting to think the Trileptal may be causing more neurological problems than it’s solving.
