I heard about a surgery to correct a tethered spinal cord I am wondering how safe that is

@stephanie1315 did you get tested for tethered spinal cord? I think that I might have that but I was told that the test was a standing MRI and that it was extremely difficult and painful for someone like me to go through. I am trying to get more information on people's symptoms before I bring it up with my doctor

Honestly, coming from having TSP myself and having it corrected at 7, I cannot speak on the safety, but am willing to bet it is insanely safe due to the fact that all they do is cut a couple layers into your lower back and snip the cartilage and sew you back up.
