I woke up feeling exhausted and I even tried to go to bed early. I am still dealing with the suicidal thoughts and I texted my counselor this morning and just waiting for her to get back to me. now I have to pretend I am okay at work and not let anyone know how I am feeling. I feel bad enough about missing two weeks of work.

I only got four hours of sleep last night and my anxiety is up. I am still dealing with the suicidal thoughts and it is not easy when you are working

@Tabatha especially when you work in customer service this time of year. It's hard enough without people getting all up in your face and upset with you because they may have screwed up. I know it's not something you want to do when you get home from work, but try spending as much time as you can with others. Do you like dark chocolate? That has a chemical in it that helps with mood. I know it sounds weird, but it works. I've done it.
You can text 711 if you are in the US and they will chat with you
@Terry81 I talked to my counselor and she wants me to go get checked out since I feel ok when I am around people but I feel unsafe by myself
I asked my dad to take my pills out of my room before I came home cause I wasn't sure how I would be when I came home from work.
@Tabatha I'm proud of you girl!
Nothing is helping me
You’ve made it through these feelings before and you will again. Think of how many people you’ve helped today (with a fake smile on your face) who feel the exact same way. I am sure that if you focus hard enough you can see the positive impact you can have on your customers and coworkers. Try to focus on them, instead of you, just while you’re at work. Watch their faces light up when you give them the info they need. Offer to help a coworker. The energy and motivation may not be there - but you’re doing it for them, not you. When you get home, be the customer, too! Ask yourself if you can do anything to help. What can you find for yourself (a drink, bath, book, etc.) Maybe even stop and get yourself a small treat on the way home. ❤️ You will survive because you always have, you always will, and you’re good at it.
@AlikeYou33 awesome point of view... I love it
Why do you want to know
@Tabatha if love to do a zoom with some of us. We have relatability and a common nonjudgmental zone. It's easier to talk. We have the code of using the camera so there's still privacy. But we are they for one another
I work at Lowes and I do customer service. My anxiety is very high and the suicidal thought are still there
@Tabatha whereabouts are you located
