How do you cope with putting your mental health first when someone you love and care about is in crisis and needs your help? I always tell people I'm there for them and mean it. but I'm also struggling and will feel overwhelming guilt if I dont try and help but I also need to sleep and look after myself...

I was always the "Therapy" friend that people came to when they needed help so I get it but honestly, you AREN'T their therapist and have to set up boundaries and let them know that you will be there for them but you can't put their problems over yourself. You are one person and can only do so much it's not your responsibility to look after them so don't beat yourself up about it and keep your chin up. šŸ©·
