hi, my name is rainwolf and lately I've been feeling very depressed, it's causing extreme irritability because I don't have any reason to be depressed. my life is wonderful, I'm happy with everything about my life but I just feel like I'm drowning and it's frustrating. I know you can be depressed without having a reason but how do I stop feeling guilty about it?

I'm planning a short 5 day trip to go see my mom, we (my fiance and I) are heading out in 9 days and I hope that'll help reset me

It might be a temporary fix, but even if it is, at least it will give you a long enough period with a clear head to work out other possible solutions. I hope your trip goes well and you feel better soon :)

Medication does wonders for those situations. So does a vacation sometimes. Since I don’t know specifics, I can’t really say, but I’ve been in a similar situation before and I took a short vacation (once I was able to afford it) out of town and came back feeling so much better for a little while. It doesn’t help long term, but it helps enough short term for you to be able to figure out a long term solution :)
My Wellbutrin made it worse for me. My doctor took me off it and it made a WORLD of a difference for me and added a mood stabilizer
