I just found out I’m pregnant, so I had to switch from Saphris to Latuda since it’s safer for pregnancy. Has anyone made this switch before or has been on Latuda for bipolar? I did really really well on Saphris, I’ve felt better than I ever have with 0 side effects. After about 5 days on Latuda, I’ve seen a return of irritability and aggression as well as some feelings of loneliness even tho I have a great support system and I’m certainly not alone. It does really help me sleep tho. I’m thinking about calling my doctor to raise the dose a tad to take care of the irritability and stuff because he said if I noticed any changes to call and he’d raise the dose. He also said Saphris and Latuda are very very similar drugs, so aside from some dosage differences I shouldn’t have issues. Anyone able to compare the two? Also any side effects I should be wary of?
