SELF HARM TRIGGER WARNING: I am struggling with not trying to harm myself. I am currently six months clean but it gets harder every day. I’m so addicted I literally crave the cooking sensations of blood trickling down my thigh and arms. I know it sounds sick.. but I just need someone to relate. It’s a really hard addiction to overcome.

I’m only a little over a month clean, but I can definitely relate! Something I’ve tried is painting red lines where you want to self harm, and then after letting it dry, either peel or rinse it off. It works pretty well for me.

I have the same feeling and it makes me feel like some sort of monster that I want to see myself bleed

I crave it everyday. Whenever I’m stressed my arms and legs start to sting like a fresh cut. I try to just scratch with my fingers or rub harshly without leaving a mark. It’s really hard I understand.
Hey, it’s really hard to overcome that addiction. It took me years, and I still crave it. If you ever wanna talk or anything, feel free to hit me up. You’re not alone. ❤️
