I used to take medication in a capsule (hard ‘shell’ with loose medication inside) I always felt like it was stuck in my throat every time I took it. Maybe it was just psychological, but it make me anxious to take it. Has this happened to you?

I can’t do it so I throw it in applesauce lol. I hide it and then grab a spoonful and it’s down.

Former pharmacy tech here! Capsules float! So while your natural inclination with tablets may be to tilt your head back to swallow with a drink, with capsules you actually want to take a drink with the capsule in your mouth and DON’T tilt your head back, and possibly slightly forward so the “high” part of the liquid is nearer your throat with the capsule. See if that helps.
Snapcracklepop yeah, I can take solid pills easier I don’t know what made that kind so hard to take
I am never able to take any capsule meds including gel capsules. I can only take solid pills idk why
Drink a lot of water and eat something, that usually helps me
Yes! No matter what pills I take I have this problem. I always have to eat something after just to try and get the feeling out. It truly feels like it just sticks in my throat.
