I have PTSD from being in a gaslighting relationship. I get flashbacks very often. How do I know if someone is trying to gaslight me or I’m just having PTSD? I’m seeing this guy. He seems like he wants to go fast but I’m scared. He is very sweet but I still don’t know him well enough to know all sides of him. A part of me wants to jump in and the other part of me wants to run away. My gaslighting relationship ended three years ago. It was terrible. It got physically abusive but nothing like some others experience. However it was mainly psychological, which drove me to insanity. And I’m afraid of this happening again.. any advice?

I left a relationship like this in May. If he is going to fast then you need to say, if he actually cares then he will understand and respect your wishes

@Mr._Dank I hooe it goes well for you. And as for advice on how to not project fears of past relatuonship(s) onto current and/or future ones is again communication with said person
