Hi everyone! I have been working on dietary changes (no gluten, dairy, etc) and was wondering if anyone has had a lot of success. I’ve been gluten free (with some exposures) for more than a year. My swelling in my hands has gone down, but I’m still battling fatigue, hair loss, etc. I am working with an endocrine doc & functional medicine. I’m on synthroid & plaquenil (skin lupus)

Thanks! I’ve read so many conflicting things about every single diet. I know I’ll just have to trial & error and figure out what works for me

Hi Kab! I previously did AIP (autoimmune paleo) for a year but fell off the wagon, so to speak. I did have relief from my symptoms but I still had some gastric issues. I recently have adopted a 90 day carnivor-ish diet. I’m eating meat, taking freeze dried organ supplements, my normal supplement routine, desiccated thyroid, and eating raw dairy. I’ve been doing this for 40 days now and I’ve received the most benefit out of any past diet changes. I do plant on reintroducing certain foods very carefully at some point. I’m in NO WAY saying you should try this way of eating. I’m just telling you my experience so far. I would recommend looking up Mikhaila Peterson and reading about her Lion Diet. She has been in remission from her severe rheumatoid arthritis and other issues for years.
