I have a job interview tomorrow morning. Does anyone have any advice when it comes to what stage of the employment process one should mention mental health conditions at? For clarification, I am mostly stable on this medication combination and already have one p/t job, but I have lost a job due to my mental health way back when.

I have been at both ends of that interview table and I can tell you that all interviews go differently depending on who is performing the interview. In the interest of honesty I would introduce yourself , tell them your strengths and how they would benefit with you on their team , then tell them that even though you suffer with particular mental illnesses , it will not stop you from working to 100% of your ability , and not giving you the job based on said mental illnesses , would be their loss ❤️❤️❤️ Wishing you luck hun xx

In my experience, it's easier to get the accommodations you might need if you're up front about them. You don't need to disclose specifics, but letting them know what you'll need is best. And if they don't hire you, their loss. ❤

I usually go in and say before we start you should know I suffer from this, this and this and explain that I get this out the way as I've been denied jobs in the past because of health issues so to save time I like to get it all out in the open first. And good luck tomorrow
I would not mention it until after getting the job and being established in it a while. The sad thing is, they may make assumptions and hold it against you if you disclose early on. Once you're a stable, useful employee, then you can talk about accommodations and you should have the law on your side.

One suggestion is to not bring up mental health conditions in the beginning, as it can influence the decision to hire you. However, hiding it isn't fair to your workplace or yourself. You may consider discussing your condition at the end of the recruitment process to ensure they are aware and can accommodate your needs if necessary.
