First time posting. I never knew what to say/ask. Soon I have a consultation for ketamine infusions. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with ketamine, infusion, or ketamine therapy? Recently (past 3 months) I have suffered from suicidal ideation. they've been getting worse and worse. I've been inpatient and outpatient once last year and outpatient once this year so far.

@Monkey1980 they do have a nasal spray. And it is a lower dose than what you get in the Iv or port.

I have considered it since I was in a study in hospital for sui. Survivors. I was in control non ketamine group. I have since been in hospital for 9 more SAs in the past year. Am currently waiting for a non ICU bed while they decide what to try next. The study Dr told me it might be an issue that I don't have veins and use a port but my psychiatrist said they have a nasal version.

I am also waiting for a consultation for ketamine. I have heard a bunch of people saying that it is great but not covered by most insurance. I hope that we both get it and it helps

I haven't tried ketamine therapy specifically but I have participated in psychedelic therapy to battle depression (I hadn't been diagnosed with BPD yet). I felt like it was very beneficial, it really helped me recognize and process alot of the negative emotions I was feeling. It sounds like you've got a really promising path to some relief ahead of you, don't give up!
