Tips for Getting IV Treatment for POTS

Yep, I’m lucky enough to have a decent POTS doctor by me who is easy to talk to and not conservative when it comes to exploring treatment options. So many treatments of POTS are either unknown or barely know by non specialists. For example, I take Adderall and mestinon, the Adderall being dual purpose but really helps me with vasoconstriction and mestinon helps my muscles, fatigue, and lowers my heart rate. I also take guanfacine for my ADHD which is also prescribed for POTS. There are so so many treatment options and combos that you need a doctor who will be willing to explore the options with you.

It’s really hit or miss with doctors but trying to find someone who specializes in POTS specifically might help.
