so I don't really have anyone else to share this with, but this is my safe place so I'm gender queer, but I'm not out to anyone in my family rn. but about 2 years ago I cut my hair from my shoulders into a more 'masculine look'. Anyway, it grew out and I hadn't gotten it cut in a while so it had grown almost to my shoulders for the most part. but 2 days ago, I got my hair cut the shortest I've ever had it. and last night, my little sister told me that I look like a man from a certain angle. and inside I was like 'that's what I was going for' but on the outside to her I was like , wow thanks so much...' with as much sarcasm as I could muster. anyway, it made me happy šŸ˜Š

Thats so sweet - I am mostly out (eg school, friends , some family) but when I first cut my hair a 9 year old came and told me you look like a boy with fluffy hair and it was the best feeling ever

ā¤ļø glad it made you happy. Families aren't always the most understanding I've found. Have a great day šŸ¤—

It's great to hear that you were able to achieve the look you wanted with your haircut and that it made you happy. It's important to express yourself in a way that feels authentic to you, even if you're not out to your family yet. Keep embracing your true self!
