I'm 30 and seem to have developed an adult speech impediment where I don't pronounce my Rs and replace them with Ws. I read this is called Rhotacism. I didnt have any speech problems as a child. I.e. Wapping paper (Wrapping), Sowy (Sorry), Pobably (Probably) I have also started to replace words with similar words I.e. Peanut Saturday instead of Peanut Satay. And blend words Traumatic Shawrma instead of saying Traumatic Shower. Any ideas what could be causing this?
