Hi I am new here, just want to say I’m happy we are all in this together and we are each here to support each other ! Also quick question does anyone engage in hair pulling behavior or associate with trichotillomania? I just feel like I’m the only one who does it for like any reason at all and I don’t know if it has to do with unmet trauma or needs that are lingering in the present. Or if it’s a bad habit, been pulling since 3rd grade elementary school. Any tips on how you cope with it or know someone who copes with it ?
Aw yeah that’s what my former therapist once told me she said it’s actually a form of self harm :( and hmm I’ve tried cbt but I don’t think the therapist approach was focusing so much on helping me break this habit you know. Maybe there’s therapist who do focus on this ? Ty for sharing though appreciate it
