Does anyone else feel incredibly isolated when it comes to people understanding your struggles with weight? My highest weight was 506lbs. Lowest in last 5 years was 370lbs, after duodenal switch surgery. Currently 400ish. I don't think I'll ever have a nice body that functions how I want.

Hi, I understand you very well. I've felt this way before too, I reached a weight quite similar to yours. After bariatric surgery I thought it would change but it didn't. Finally, I realized that the change must not only be surgical, but a complete change in my behavior towards food and physical activity, and that surgery alone is not the solution. It wasn't until I got into the discipline of nutrition and sports that things started to change.
