Responding to Pain Scale with Chronic Pain

I try to be specific about where I feel the pain and the levels I feel it in certain areas and explain that I have chronic pain

And I say sometimes pain varies and location varies and show where

I say well, right now a __ but usually everything is a 4

I typically say something like "My baseline is about a 2, but right now I'm at a 7, but I have experienced worse/or this is the worst"
