Hi sorry it has been awhile. Yes many of my symptoms are those of Lupus. But sometimes if I'm having a flare up my joints hurt so bad I can't walk. I see a rheumatologist in October. I have been keeping my information at Bay the best of my ability. I drink boiled Ginger mix it with some turmeric powder ground black pepper and honey and lemon slices very good very refreshing and very rewarding as far as information

I'm still trying to get a diagnosis myself with a positive ANA and arthritis symptoms at 34. I noticed you said rash on your cheeks, i came across something in my reading that mentioned a "butterfly" mask. A rash on your face that would resemble the shape of a butterfly around eyes and cheekbones. As a symptom of Lupus

The turmeric ginger and lemon water helps the most. Oh and the kombucha.

Because I have changed my diet I don't have the tachycardia as much unless I have some random food like when I had cheese on my salad yesterday. My cheeks got so red and swollen within 30 mins after eating it. Then the quivering back spasms.

@mychoice yes I do tachycardia is common in people with autoimmune disease. I need a eat alot of beans quinoa grains food that is high in protein. I eat salmon and shrimp and a lot of tuna. Fatty fish is good for inflammation because it has omega-3

@mychoice my heart would pound hard. I was put on a beta blocker to help. I thought I was having a heart attack several trips to the er. The changes I made have helped control the pounding not severe and not everyday. I'm going to see another cardiologist also

@NikkiG do you think it's from the autoimmune disease that causes the palpitations? Also, what foods do you eat if you don't eat chicken or red meat?

@mychoice I would change doctors. A positive ana, symptoms and rnp 180 I've done a lot of research on doctors gaslighting. It has been on the news lately the doctors are blowing women symptoms off. maybe take someone else with you to your next appointment you have a brother a dad husband a boyfriend just so they can't blow you off it's sad but it happens

@NikkiG Thank you for this information. I just wanted to take care of this before it got too serious but the rheumatologist made it seem like it's not likely that I have an autoimmune disease.

@mychoice until then I have done some research. I've had acupuncture I drink kombucha everyday I no longer eat red meat or chicken these things have really helped. I take naproxen sodium for the pain it helps as well. Had a really bad flare-up in November and I had to lay flat on my back I can barely walk I gave me some steroids and muscle relaxers an anti-inflammatory medicine but nothing helped. I've invested in fresh ginger turmeric and lemon and make a juice out of it and really helps Hosta

@mychoice Hi, yes I was diagnosed in March of this year. I can remember symptoms back in 2017 such a fatigue some lightheadedness. I have had pain for years.. Then the rapid pounding heart rate. In 2019 I started going to er thinking I was having a heart attack. My doctor then sent me to a cardiologist nothing found but put me on a beta blocker for tachycardia. 2020 got worse I didn't look like myself in the face, fatty pads developed around my neck like cushion's disease and my stomach would bloat like I was 6months pregnant. 2021 I noticed swelling on one side of my face and on my forearm. That Dr prescribed me Prozac and klonopin and told me to get a message! I was furious. New Dr showed her pics of my face and hair loss, she drew my Ana. I have to now see a specialist.

I hate when they blow it off like it's nothing. I have stopped eating red meat and chicken that had helped with the swelling. No more alcohol either. I've drink Kombucha everyday. It has helped me not to feel like crap everyday

Yes, most likely with the rash, and other symptoms. 1:80 is on the high level too. Mine has been 1:60. I was diagnosed with undifferentiated connective tissue disease in 2018
