What I find that helps is to try comforting yourself and trying to remove yourself from the triggering situation if possible but I know that's not always the case :']
Know what your triggers and and avoid them (easier said than done obvs) if you get triggered by something online, try to make yourself aware that it’s online, get off your phone, and take a break. go outside. I always turn to my plants when I get triggered, I stare at the details on their leaves and just how frickin amazing nature is. I’ll water them, say a few kind words, and remind myself to breathe and that this feeling will pass.
