I agree! I go through fazes but it's an amazing distraction

I'm struggling, a lot. But I don't want to die because of it anymore, so I'm doing great. I'm on a very slow journey to getting better. I can't really give any useful advice without knowing what your theme is, or themes are, but I hope you're doing well!

So I have intrusive thoughts over contamination and making myself or people sick. It has been a crippling few years, but I feel like I'm finally finding my way again. I am so happy to hear your now wanting to live, I know what that feels like and is a massive step to getting better ❤️

my advice, something that you've probably already heard, is to not avoid your triggers and avoid doing compulsions

Currently waiting for an actual diagnosis, im struggling hard and need to find a specialist that accepts my insurance. I try to distract myself or end up complying to all the counting and worst case scenario thoughts….

Healing isn’t linear, & everyone heals at their own rate. You may see people on here (or in life) getting better faster than you, and you’ll get yourself down. Remember to give yourself credit for going through hardship at all. You’re strong, important, and you’ve got this!
