I'm like 80% sure I'm a lesbian but all of my fantasies and daydreams include men and I've mostly dated men. I don't get along with women. I also grew up with homo/trans phobic parents and joined the Mormon/lds church. I will probably never get married because I'm not compatible with men

      It's very hard to unlearn things but check out compulsory heterosexuality and see if that rings any bells. There's no rush or pressure

      My parents/grand parents, MIL all disagree with it and been told a couple times that I'm going to hell. I'm bisexual. I fall in love with souls. I wish for you to be happy. šŸ’š

        @Exrs thank you, I like that. I fall in love with souls. If it makes you feel better their generation is probably going to hell for racism and pollution. We all go to hell for something. The Bible says love thy neighbor, no asterisk, but that generation keeps adding one. My dad said "God made Adam and eve not Adam and Steve

          @FS_cookielove God made people to love people. It doesn't matter who it is.

      The fantasies themselves don't matter nearly as much as how they make you feel. A lot of people have brought up the point of men being "safe" to fantasize about, but do you really connect with those thoughts?

        @Gingeralamode the guys in my fantasies usually aren't safe choices but the women are. The guys are usually protective and ensure I'll never be hurt by another guy again. Like a Russian soldier or a fbi interrogator or something

      I think sometimes fantasies is our brains way or having a moment with maybe the opposite sex in a safe place. The reason itā€™s a safe place is because the fantasy will go the right way in your head with a man. I would pay attention to the fantasies because that will reveal if you actually want to be with a man or if youā€™re only wanting a safe hypothetical relationship with a man, but in reality want a woman for a real relationship

      You may be bi-sexual. Just an idea.

        @Denotchka I have thought about that as well but never know

      Lesbianism is a hard thing to think about. Sometimes the urge/aversion to "love women" is about loving yourself or learning to love women platonically. If you enjoy intimacy with women and have fantasy/sexual relationships with men too, that's okay. You can do whatever you want without labels, just be honest with your partners

      If this is caused by your OCD, you should stop trying to figure it out because it'll only make your OCD worse

      • FS_cookielove

        459d

        @Eren2273 I don't know if it is or not

          459d

          @FS_cookielove Does trying to figure it out make the thoughts worse and cause you to get stuck in a loop of trying to figure it out? If so, it's the OCD and you should stop

      I'm in a similar boat. I've labeled myself bisexual due to male fantasys even though they're just fantasys. (And male parts are gross lol)

      I usually don't recommend this bc I believe the term is thrown around a lot, but you might benefit from researching compulsory heterosexuality

        @AriEden I'll look into it
