Hi! I’m having a really bad endo flare up today and I’m really struggling with it. I’m pretty much bed-ridden from the pain and because I haven’t done anything today, it’s caused my anxiety to act up as well. What are some things I can do to better manage the pain? I currently have 2 heating pads on me and I’ve taken so much ibuprofen. It’s barely helping. I just want some sort of relief.

@marge I have a ginger peach tumeric actually and I love it. It is kind of savory but also fruity??? Idk it’s one of my top favorites. I also do use a tens machine and it can bring my level 8-9 pain down to a 5-6 maybe 7. I have found that it works for about a hour hour period during the day. Like I can’t use it all day and feel relief
@doggymama, how does the ginger tumeric tea taste. Also has anyone tried a tens machine? I wanna try them
A warm bath or shower helps me. I also second Doggymama , CBD&THC helps me immensely. Also for me just being distracted helps? Like if I’m playing animal crossing or coloring or something it seems to hurt less, Idk. (Even though I know those days when you are in so much pain and so u have one brain cell and literally can’t do anything if you are like me)

A laparoscopic procedure could be helpful if you have an endometriosis specialist. Changing to the Mediterranean diet can help reduce inflammation. Other than that, I supplement with cannabis and CBD and use a ginger tumeric tea.
Have you tried to talk to your doctor about possible options like medications/procedures that could be of some help? I was in that position up until last year when my doctor decided to finally do a hysterectomy. I still get cramps when I should have my cycle from my ovaries (I have PCOS), but it’s nowhere near as severe. There are also things like ablations to temporarily stop cycles for I think it was 5 years? I can’t remember exactly. And there are medications like birth control or even ones specifically for endometriosis that can help as well
