Hi I’m new here and I was hoping for help with getting “unstuck” I feel like I’m still in shock from my trauma even though it’s been years

Yes she is great but we agree I need more help and I need to be more social as I have been isolated for so long which is why I’m here I’m hoping for ideas from others that are struggling

my trauma was wrapped up in so many other things going on at the time it got all jumbled up and made things difficult
Try other types of therapy! Hypnoband emdr have good results. Also talk to your therapist about stuck points looking into it and working on it can make a huge difference on processing your trauma. Skills coaches at therapy places can help with a lot of the social aspect. Try joining discord servers with your interests or people similar to you with disorders. As long as you do it safely i believe some fun clubs (like hobbies not the dance kind lol) and stuff have reopened. Take it one step at a time and one day at a time. Dont give up it will be okay in the end and if its not okay its not the end :o)

I have to be careful with social media and the internet in general so going on something like this that is totally anonymous is really the only option
Sometimes I wonder why in heck I let myself put up with the trauma.
I wish there was a choice after a lifetime of trauma coming to terms seems impossible
especially when the trauma continues
