Diet for Hep C and Cirrhosis?

I have Hep C and a compensated liver. The Hep C has been arrested by anti-virals but my liver isn’t repaired (cirrhotic). Should I be eating a specific diet? (Been clean and sober 23 years and I’m fit at moment)?

      @ratdog watch your sodium,no processed foods,proteins good in small amounts..no sugars but I'm saying that all I eat is chocolate as no appetite in a year,I have cirrhosis from help C untreated since 2005..had gastric bleeds..they don't even check for varices,I don't see the hepatologists..I just have to deal with it on my own with heaps of things wrong with me,drs turn away from me

      Stay away from Red meat unless well done still limit Mediterranean diet is good.no shellfish, limit bananas, no processed food or keep to a minimum fresh fruit stay away from seeds
