I have covid, and so does everyone else in my household, and I’m completely freaking out over it. I feel like my anxiety is making my symptoms much worse as well or making me feel like it’s worse than it actually is. This is my WORST fear to come and without my mom to comfort me it’s been hell trying to calm down. Any suggestions or also any words of advice from people who had it? ;;

@dany2px After recovering it definitely has left a impact on my ocd and hypochondria along with panic disorder too so I completely understand ;) it felt like I was back to square one, my anxiety is still horrible when it comes to public spaces even now. I truly hope you are able to find some relief though I know how hard it is but it does get better <3

I had covid last year, and I fully agree that being a hypochondriac did not help whatsoever. It was a big part of my OCD and anxiety coming back. Best thing that has helped me is just anything to get my mind off of being sick, do legitimately anything you want/can to focus on more positive things on tough days. Movies, TV, video games, whatever gets your brain quiet. I agree with everyone saying plenty of vitamins/fluids, gatorade was a lifesaver for me when I felt too sick to eat big meals. You very well might feel bad for a while after you're negative, but rest assured it will get easier and we only know more about treating covid every day. I hope you feel better very soon and that your anxiety gets only easier.
Bless u. I see this was a month ago. I pray that ur feeling better. Covid made me have panic disorder. I suffered from it back when I was a younger. And then boom. It's back. It's the worse. Vovid sucks

The dame thing happened to me last October. And the best thing that helped me was to keep myself busy amd tet not to think about it. I know that's really hard, but it's the only way I got through it tbh. Try to just take ot one day at a time and everything will be ok. I hope you start feeling better soon <33

@carter._.16 distraction has definitely helped a ton! It’s been hard and it’s left some lasting effects on me but as you e said, one day at a time. Tysm🥹
@Kaiiyla no problem 😊 I hope you continue to get better <3
Hi, I’m going through covid this week too. My whole family has it too and I’m trying to stay away from my elderly parents. I know it can be isolating but we will get through this. In the meantime load up on your vitamins especially vitamin c and take care of your body. Plenty of rest and fluids too. Feel better. Today I finally had a bit more energy myself.

@Mindoverbody wising you the best, hopefully we’ll be out of it soon! It’s been rough but starting to have better days <3
@Kaiiyla I finally tested negative today. Hope you do too soon!
Just try to take care of yourself more and take some vitamins. Let yourself know you’re okay. I had COVID back in January and I think that’s what triggered my health anxiety. I just worried too much about my health because I was seeing others suffer from it. But if you’re feeling okay, just stay hydrated and think positive ❤️
