Tourettes is when you have a tic disorder as a child, and other tic disorders can be diagnosed at any time.

i think tourette’s is when you have it for a year or more. if not they’re very likely to go away. also they have to be both motor and vocal tics.

For a tourettes diagnosis you have to have multiple motor tics and at least one vocal tic for at least a year and have had tics since you were a child, if you think you have TS you should talk to a neurologist about it!
