What do you use for bandaging when it comes to your thighs? How do you get something to drain when it is being hella stubborn? Flaring to the max, out of options/not sure how to proceed.

@E_belli @spookyspoonie that was meant as a reply to you--- also I'll have to look into patch bc I'm allergic to adhesive so the bandaids and take kill my skin, thanks!

Never heard of castor oil! I was wondering about the Vicks bc I've seen that thrown around before but I was thinking it would be hella painful. But it makes sense not on an open one! I have hibicleanse I think. I'll have to find it! I never even considered popping it myself, what a great idea. My dog jumped on me and his little nail stabbed if and popped it open finally! Hurt like hell but at least its draining. Thanks for this info!

For bandages, I cannot tolerate any mainstream bandage due to allergies. So I use a brand of Hypoallergenic bamboo bandages called "Patch"

I like doing hot castor oil compresses. Vaporub on an UNOPENED sore is a nice painkiller and helps bring it to a head (nor for the ones that already have huge craters). The number 1 biggest godsend I have is Hibiclens soap. It's surgical soap and the single strongest antiseptic soap out there. Perfect for super sensitive skin. If I have to poke it to get it to drain, I like using a "pimple popper tool kit" I got at CVS. They're cheap and also available on Amazon. I use the sharp pokey tool to stab the cyst- not the looped one that is used for regular pimples.

Use wet warm rags to get it to pop! Then after that I squeeze it myself until there's blood, then I clean in with alcohol then I use gauze and tape. Just change it when needed.

@Jaci84 warm rags, that's a great and simple idea! Thanks. Mine finally started draining and has been draining for about 4 days now. Just keep changing the bandages, but at least its not huge anymore. Gauze feels better than a big bandaid, I just get ever get it in the right position where I can still move without issue. I'm a thick thighed individual lol so inner thigh ones are a MAJOR pain!
