I'm a truck driver and am away from my family alot. the loanlyness of the road can trigger somethings , like past events in relationships and other stuff. it gets hard out here.

      @Cowboy75 my family is that way too. Have you tried a weighted blanket? When I was in the nursing facility after my surgery I would just call up my husband or kids & we would talk about stuff, nothing in particular just stuff. The worst was the nurses & cnas weren't really allowed to touch the patients more than necessary due to covid.

        @MaryC sometimes it does. But then I'm a very physical person. My love language is touch so to wake without my wife next to me hurts sometimes. Or to be able to look over and start a crazy conversation about nothing at all with someone.
