Feeling the Need to Prove Myself

You don’t owe them anything! Maybe you feel like you have to be able to defend your every action and thought but not everyone deserves an explanation. Maybe you want to make sure the people you care about don’t misinterpret you or think badly of you but the opinions randos you see on the street don’t matter. Most of them won’t even remember you well enough to form an opinion! There’s no reason to imagine the things that people might say.
