Dealing with Smart Bulbs and Headaches

I dislike smart bulbs sometimes, we have them in every room of the house and my parents like them bright and I like them dim otherwise I get headaches sometimes, the only light I use in my room is my lamp with a soft white bulb, I don't know what to do about the living room though, do I keep doing this endless dimming and redimming of the lights in the living room?
